Conceived for those who favor places with an artistic appeal, Gombit Hotel is the first design hotel within the antique walls surrounding the “Citta Alta”, the antique village of Bergamo. Adjacent to the Torre del Gombito, a twelfth century stone building; a cross between historical and avant-garde, the hotel is an innovative laboratory/gallery kept in continuous evolution through the collaboration of young artists. The interior design was conferred to Giò Pozzi who created a simple and linear space, stylish yet well-situated among the antique parts of both the building and urban setting. True and essential architecture inspired the project - soft colours and important yet simple materials with soft welcoming tones and an inclination to pure design. Each of the thirteen rooms, spread on four floors, are different but share the same style of design. A place for dreamers created by dreamers.
