Flaminia participates in the Milan Design Week 2020
The latest news exhibited in the historic showroom in via Solferino

Flaminia continues to explore the theme of colour and its role in the design experience. At Milan Design Week (28 September/10 October), the Flaminia brand, a trailblazer in the introduction of design in the field of Italian ceramic sanitary ware and fittings for the bathroom, presents the new trends for the sector. The historic showroom in Via Solferino opens its doors to the public to present a new nuance that is added to the wide range of Flaminia colour shades drawing inspiration from nature and natural landscapes, and evoking natural and earthly materials, such as soil and rock. New product types supplementing and updating some of the brand’s top collections will also be displayed in the rooms of Spazio Flaminia.

Flaminia has always viewed colour as an intrinsic feature of the design project, going beyond its purely decorative role to make it into an integral part of its creations. With this approach, the brand has explored, and continues to explore, the yet undiscovered potential of ceramics. Over time, this on-going research has revolutionised the perception of the bathroom, exalting its emotional component and making it a locus of experience.

The Twin collection has been restyled according to the current trend; the thickness of the basins has been significantly reduced and the drain is now flush with the bottom of the basin while the proportions and dimensions remain unaltered. Twin Set Slim 42 and the new addition, the free standing “MonoTwin”, are available in two versions ; one with a tap ledge and the other with a center drain.

The urinatotoio App is born, enriching this important line of sanitary ware and washbasins. The product is the first urinal in the Flaminia GoClean catalog.

All the new products will be available in the Matt "Carbone" finish, a new color created by the company's enamel laboratory. An intense, material and neutral shade of matte black (without dominants of other colors).

On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Flaminia is also participating in the “Casa Cappellini” project organised at the Cappellini showroom in Via Santa Cecilia. For this space, set up in the guise of an apartment in Milan, Valentina Folli and Giulio Cappellini have chosen the one-piece App bowl, Monoflag basins in their new charcoal-coloured version, Flag mirrors, and the Wash bathtub in Pietraluce. The encounter with the Cappellini brand shows yet again the design quality of Flaminia products, which enables every collection by the Civita Castellana-based company to engage in a dialogue with the top-of-the-line creations of contemporary design.
